Why can you trust Everlink Give?
Here is how a story gets posted, where money goes, and what we do not hide.
How one story gets posted
Documents
We do not accept photos or screenshots. We take the hospital’s online-issued PDF and its original-verification document number. The automatic check (rules we set) only looks for signs of forgery, whether amounts add up, and wording that steers people to contact details, as an assist.
See details
Passing means: Passing the automatic check is never a reason for money to go out. It is not a gate.
Not applicable when: There are no documents received.
Check directly with the issuing hospital
Legal review in progressFor documents that a public verification service can check, we check there first. We never judge from that lookup alone.
For hospital documents, we will check directly through the hospital’s official number after getting the patient’s handwritten consent.
See details
Passing means: The document’s numbers and dates, the diagnosis, and the admission and discharge dates match the hospital’s records.
Not applicable when: The story has no hospital document, or the issuer cannot be asked.
A person calls
A person calls the individual and the issuer, asks a fixed set of items, and puts what they say on a timeline to see whether anything does not fit.
See details
Passing means: The answers are ones only the person would know, and nothing on the timeline is out of order.
Not applicable when: A phone call is not possible.
We check 8 items by phone.
We do not publish the questions, because someone who knows them could prepare a forgery.
Visit if needed
For stories with high costs or high risk, or that cannot be checked from a distance, we visit in person. While the team is small, a video call or help from a local organization can stand in.
See details
Passing means: We confirm on site or face to face that the situation is real.
Not applicable when: An operator decided that a visit is not needed.
Once fundraising opens, no money goes out until a story passes the steps.
Each step is marked Done, In progress, Not applicable, or Not yet.
Where the money goes
Once fundraising opens, money goes straight to places like hospitals and schools, not to a beneficiary’s personal account.
Once fundraising opens, we post what was spent to the ledger so anyone can see it later.
What we do not hide
For every story, we publish what we checked, what we could not check, how we checked, and when.
We show what we could not check exactly as it is.
We write the day and the role that checked, together.
Circumstances can change over time, and knowing who checked lets you decide for yourself how much to trust it.
We do not write names, only the role (Operator or Representative).
To protect the people involved, we do not publish personal information, original documents and photos, or what was said on phone calls.
A story with no step record shows "Review steps are not recorded yet."
How we stop these tricks
Once fundraising opens, a request that passes off an operation already done as upcoming gets an automatic date-order check, and advance payment is blocked.
Once fundraising opens, we check directly through the issuer’s official number, not the number printed on the document, to catch fake documents.
Forged documents made with AI are hard to catch by looking at their form, so automatic checks are only an assist and we confirm with the issuer directly.
In what we looked at, few other places publish checking directly with the issuer.
We have not confirmed how well these safeguards work.

Legal registration status
We are preparing fundraising registration and a nonprofit association.
How the law applies to fundraising registration and patient consent forms is under legal review.
Reports and appeals
If something looks wrong, report it from the ⋯ at the top right of the story.
When you report, an operator checks it and acts if needed.
If you think a tip or post was blocked by mistake, you can send an appeal from that screen.
