Why we show everything
Once giving opens, we'll pay for what's needed directly, show every transaction, and take running costs of at most 10% — only what we actually spend.
Once giving opens, at least ₩9,000 of every ₩10,000 goes straight to what's needed. The legal cap on running costs (15%) would leave ₩8,500 — we plan to cap ours at 10%.
This compares against the legal cap, not against platforms that take no platform fee.
How it works once giving opens
- Once giving opens, we'll pay directly whenever we can. Hospital bills, deposits, utilities, and supplies will go straight to the recipient, with receipts shown as they are. Only costs that cannot be paid directly, such as living expenses, will go to the person in installments, and the next share will go out only after spending records are posted.
- Once giving opens, we'll publish money in, money out, and running costs line by line without hiding a transaction. Only names will be hidden.
- Once giving opens, running costs will be capped at 10%, and we'll take only what we spend. Anything left will go back to the stories.
- We say what isn't true yet first: we're not a nonprofit, donations aren't tax-deductible, and we don't hide months when the partner fund is ₩0.
1,000 people to keep this promise together
Everlink is preparing to found a nonprofit association. Once it is designated a tax-deductible organization, donations can become tax-deductible. We're aiming for March 2027, but government review may delay or deny it. Until then, donations are not tax-deductible. 1,000 isn't a legal requirement — it's a promise we made ourselves. Once the nonprofit exists, we plan to post here how members can take part.
Joining as a founding member means you intend to take part in founding and running a future nonprofit association. It is not a pledge to donate, and we take no fees or donations here. For now, members have no voting rights or account access, and if the nonprofit isn't approved, we'll say so publicly.
